Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher to join our culinary team. You will be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring every guest has spotless tableware and our chefs have the clean tools they need to succeed.

Core Responsibilities

Clean and Sanitize: Operate commercial dishwashers and hand-wash delicate items, oversized pots, and pans.
Maintain Organization: Scrape, rinse, and stack dishes; return clean items to proper storage areas immediately.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all food safety and health department sanitization protocols.
Kitchen Support: Assist with light food prep (e.g., peeling vegetables) and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
Waste Management: Regularly empty trash and recycling bins; keep the dock and dumpster areas clean.
General Upkeep: Sweep, scrub, and mop floors; clean kitchen walls and surfaces.
Qualifications & Skills
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
Punctuality: Consistent reliability is required to keep the kitchen running during peak rushes.
Fast-Paced Environment: Capability to work efficiently under pressure in a hot, humid kitchen.
Teamwork: A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever the team needs backup.
