Mercato di Luigi is currently looking for a Sous Chef to lead the kitchen team at our original location on 12th and Carolina St.! Mercato di Luigi is focused on a community-driven concept offering an Italian grocery, fresh pasta to dine in or takeaway, and an Italian-style cafe. If you're passionate about hospitality, the guest experience and leading a team, we want to hear from you!
Please note, this will be a daytime position with no evening shifts required.
You have:
- 1+ years experience in a similar role
- A passion for cooking and hospitality
- A positive attitude and a calm demeanour
- Food Safe Level One required
- Experience with Italian cuisine is an asset
- First Aid is an asset
