Mercato di Luigi (on 12th & Carolina) is currently looking for a Store Manager to join the team! This community-driven location offers an Italian grocery, fresh pasta to dine in or takeaway, and an Italian-style cafe. If you're passionate about hospitality, the guest experience and leading a team, we want to hear from you!
Please note, this will be a daytime position with no evening shifts required.
You have:
- 2+ years of previous restaurant/cafe/retail management experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality
- Barista skills- experience in the preparation of espresso-based coffee drinks
- A calm, confident, and kind presence with guests and staff
- Experience with ordering, inventory management, scheduling and payroll
- Knowledge of Italian food, beverages, and products considered an asset
- Foodsafe Level 1
