Job Description

Mercato di Luigi (Chinatown location - 213 E Georgia) is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the team! Our location features an Italian market, deli, and café by day, transforming into a full-service restaurant by night (Cantina di Luigi, inspired by our very own Ask for Luigi), celebrating the essence of Italian cuisine with a focus on simplicity and fresh local ingredients.

Please note, evening and weekend availability required.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen in a similar position
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of station ownership, prep, and service flow
• Ability to lead by example and support junior team members
• Confidence working efficiently without compromising standards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A positive, team-first mindset
• Food Safe Level 1 is considered an asset
