Monzo is currently looking for a Kitchen Manager to join the team! The ideal candidate has experience in a high-volume environment and is passionate about cooking, hospitality, and leading teams.
Monzo is inspired by the 1980s Paninaro subculture in Milan -characterized by a fascination with American fast-food culture and European designer fashion, it embodies the spirit of that era - fast, fun, and bold! Just like the Paninaros, we're all about pushing the envelope and delivering something fresh and exciting.
You have:
- 2+ years of experience leading a kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A proven track record managing food cost, labour and inventory management - experience with Optimum Control is an asset
- Experience with ensuring adherence to kitchen cleanliness and safety standards including creating and implementing Food Safety and Sanitation Plans
- A passion for food, cooking, leadership and mentorship
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role
- Menu development experience is an asset
- A calm and kind demeanour when interacting with team members
