We are currently seeking a Bar Manager who is passionate about beverage excellence, team leadership, and operational execution.
Position Overview
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations, ensuring outstanding service standards, strong financial performance, and a positive, professional team culture. This role is hands-on and requires a confident leader who thrives in a high-volume, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
Lead day-to-day bar operations during service
Ensure consistent execution of beverage standards and service excellence
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health & safety standards
Collaborate with senior leadership to execute events, promotions, and seasonal programming
Leadership & Team Development
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bar staff
Coach and mentor team members to achieve performance and service goals
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture
Conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary processes when required
Financial & Inventory Management
Manage bar inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost controls
Monitor beverage costs, waste, and pour accuracy
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and profitability targets
Ensure accurate cash handling and POS procedures
Beverage Program
Maintain and evolve cocktail, wine, beer, and spirit offerings
Ensure product knowledge and training across the bar team
Work with vendors and suppliers to optimize pricing and product selection
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of bar management or senior bartending experience in a high-volume venue
Strong cocktail, wine, and spirits knowledge
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Experience with inventory systems and POS platforms
Serving It Right certification (or ability to obtain)
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
