Job Description

The Pourhouse is seeking a polished and attentive Host / Server Assistant to support front-of-house operations. This role is essential in delivering seamless, high-quality guest experiences from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
  • Manage reservations and waitlists while maintaining clear communication with the team
  • Support servers with table maintenance, water service, food running, and resetting tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and host stand
  • Anticipate guest needs and assist in delivering attentive, detail-oriented service
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume setting
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
  • Previous hospitality experience is an asset, but not required
