Key Responsibilities

As Chef, you will be the driving force behind all culinary operations, leading by example and creating a positive, performance-focused culture. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and scheduling of all culinary team members.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional execution, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Partner with restaurant leadership to deliver outstanding guest experiences and achieve operational goals.
  • Drive profitability through effective labour management, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.
  • Mentor and develop team members, identifying high-potential individuals and helping them grow into future leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the consistent use of fresh, high-quality ingredients while balancing food cost objectives.
  • Support menu execution and collaborate on culinary initiatives that enhance the guest experience.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing culinary teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with food costs, inventory management, labour planning, and scheduling.
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and operational excellence.
  • Positive, energetic, and results-driven attitude.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving both personal and team goals.
