Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in a high-volume, 140 seat Italian restaurant in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver. Experience in Italian cooking (pizza, pasta, antipasti) is an asset but strong culinary leaders with clear communication skills and a service driven mentality will be priortized. We are seeking someone who will help our team learn and grow while prioritizing service standards and eductation. The Sous Chef will work directly with the Exectuive Chef and the Owner to ensure service standards, cleanliness standards, and food quality are being maintained. 

We're looking for someone with long term growth in mind. If you are a positive, compassionate, food focused, and ready to run a service with confidence and composure, we want to hear from you. 

COMPENSATION: ○ Graduated wage system inclusive of tips minimum $24/hour. This will increase as a direct correlation to sales with opportunities for addtional earning. This role will ideally develop as the business grows and could lead to head chef opportunities. 

 *Legal entitlement to work in Canada is required.
