FULL TIME SHIFT LEAD SERVER – THE CIDER HOUSE

Job Description

The Cider House is looking for a strong, experienced Shift Lead Server to join our team as we head into a busy spring/summer season.

We’re a high-volume, fast-paced spot with a tight team, great energy and a focus on genuinely good hospitality. This role is for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and knows how to keep a floor running smoothly when things get busy (because they always do).

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5+ years of hospitality experience (high-volume experience is a must)
• Previous leadership or senior server experience
• Calm, confident, and solutions-focused under pressure
• Strong communicator who can work seamlessly with both FOH + BOH
• Must be available throughout the summer with no large vacations booked
• Must be available weekends

What the role looks like:

• Running shifts and setting the tone on the floor
• Opening and closing the restaurant
• Acting as the go-to person for guest issues and service recovery
• Supporting and guiding the team through busy services
• Working closely with the kitchen to manage flow, timing, and communication
• Working a full section on the floor, this is a hands-on leadership role
