At Freehouse Collective we believe that good hospitality is seen, and great hospitality is felt. Because of this belief, we aspire to make people feel at home in our house. We often refer to ourselves as publicans, defined as a person who owns or manages a pub. From a social perspective, when you consider pubs (or freehouses) as community centers, publicans are a neighbourhoods steward — the emcee and host to social connections. Our culture is a collective affinity for meaningful, thought and conversation provoking topics influenced by design, music, art, sports, travel. A constant appetite for culture and deeper learning is what attracts talent to our group. It’s what keeps them engaged. It’s what inspires us to grow. The Front of House Manager at Freehouse embodies this spirit and acts as the connective thread between front of house and back of house so that the guest experience is effortless. They are responsible for the health of the FOH business including hiring, training and retaining a team of people who are passionate about service. Our Manager’s are supported by a veteran team of GM’s and Director’s, each responsible for a unique piece of the business. GM’s work with and develop Manager’s with the aim of setting and achieving business goals, making space for personal growth, and energizing staff. The Manager is responsible and accountable for day-to-day Front of House (FOH) operations as well as FOH training. The Manager is responsible for management floor coverage, coordinating side-by-sides and orientations.
Being part of the Freehouse Collective team comes with perks:
