Job Description

Mee Bar is an exciting new Cambodian concept launching within the highly anticipated Time Out Market Vancouver. Conceived by nationally celebrated Chef Chanthy Yen, Season 11 Winner of Top Chef Canada,  and recipient of recognition by The MICHELIN year after year.

As the sister concept to Touk, Mee Bar marries a nostalgic flavours with top-tier culinary standards. We are seeking driven professionals to deliver exceptional food in a premier, high-visibility venue while maintaining our core values of empathy-led, community-focused hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Execute menu items with speed, consistency, and precision to meet the high-volume demands of Time Out Market.

  • Complete daily prep tasks efficiently and accurately to ensure seamless services.

  • Maintain a pristine, organized station in strict compliance with Vancouver Coastal Health food safety and temperature control standards.

  • Manage station inventory and communicate effectively regarding stock levels.

  • Operate with professionalism in a highly visible, open-kitchen food hall environment.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of line cook experience, with a strong preference for high-volume or fast-paced restaurant backgrounds.

  • Solid foundation in culinary techniques and a strict commitment to quality control.

  • Ability to remain composed, organized, and communicative under pressure.

  • A high degree of personal accountability and professionalism.

  • Commitment to fostering a positive, ego-free, and highly supportive kitchen culture.
