Salary: $56,000 - $60,000 (Dependent on experience)
A new cocktail-forward concept is opening in South Granville, and we’re looking for a sous chef or chef de cuisine to join us and help shape our culinary identity. This is an opportunity to collaborate and execute a menu that pairs beautifully with an expertly crafted cocktail program — bold flavors, thoughtful plating, and high-quality ingredients at the forefront.
As a leader of the culinary team, you will impact the success of this business by delivering on the overall experience and value for the community and your team.
What You’ll Do:
● Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
● Assist with menu development, bringing creativity and technique to every dish.
● Lead by example, maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
● Address any culinary concerns promptly and professionally.
● Ensure all team members are working within our safety procedures through the
implementation of training.
● Adhere to all Health & Safety/Risk Management programs, including OHS
documentation.
● Minimize waste through efficient food preparation and storage practices.
What You Bring:
● Previous kitchen management required.
● 2-3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen.
● A passion for high-quality ingredients, technique, and presentation
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
● A team-oriented mindset with leadership experience a strong asset
