Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Food Service Supervisor to manage the daily operations and staff within our food service department. Offered pay is $21.00/hour for 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Prepare production and other reports
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Supervise and check assembly of trays.

Requirements

• 2 years to less than 3 years work experience
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Supervision: Food and beverage servers

Job Details

• Location: Vancouver, BC, V6Z 1V1
• Work setting: On-site (no remote work)
• Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Schedule: Evening/ night shift, weekend, and overtime as required
• Start date: As soon as possible
