We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic dishwasher / prep cook to join our Yolks Hastings team. The Dishwasher is an essential position on the BOH team whose focus is directed toward the organization and cleanliness of key areas of the kitchen. This position assists the culinary team in various food preparation tasks that allow them to learn and develop the skills necessary to grow and develop within the BOH Team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the dish area and all storage areas of the kitchen are kept organized and clean throughout the shift.
- Adhere to assigned daily and weekly cleaning checklists as directed by the Chef.
- Operate all dishwashing equipment to ensure the appropriate sanitization of all glassware and dishware for the guests to use in the safe consumption of our food and beverage items.
- Assist the BOH team in the accurate receiving of orders.
- Assist the BOH team with some food preparation tasks as trained by the Chef.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling.
