Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Team Leader to oversee daily operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. This leadership role requires a passionate individual with strong customer service skills, restaurant management experience, and the ability to motivate and supervise staff. The ideal candidate will excel in team management, food service, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Previous experience in food preparation, POS systems, and restaurant settings is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service
  • Oversee food handling, serving, and food safety protocols to maintain compliance with industry standards
  • Manage POS transactions using Micros or similar systems, including cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Coordinate food preparation and service activities in collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new team members; provide ongoing training and development
  • Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive work environment
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are upheld throughout the restaurant or hospitality venue
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Assist with restaurant management tasks such as scheduling, inventory control, and operational planning
  • Support the implementation of food safety policies and procedures in accordance with health regulations

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms; cash handling experience required
  • Previous experience in restaurant environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Experience in interviewing, training staff, and managing restaurant operations is highly desirable
  • Hospitality experience including serving or bar management is a plus
