Tasks

• Bathe and shampoo animals
• Clip animal coat
• Document animal behaviour
• Monitor animal behaviour
• Style animal coat
• Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
• Conduct anals glands treatment
• Keep records of animals treated
• Clean animal ears
• Maintain and order supplies
• Provide flea bath treatments to animals
• Clip animal nails
• Perform expert clipping on show animals with tools including clippers, shears and massage sponges

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

• Master Groomer certification
• Pet Grooming Certificate
• Membership in the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers
