About the Role:


We're looking for a savvy Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Brand Partnerships Team. You’ll know (or learn) how to identify new business opportunities and hunt them down while keeping things organized for you and the team. You will play a key role in generating leads, qualifying prospects, and building relationships with potential clients both online and in person through various trade shows in North America. 


You’ll be responsible for creating and constructing tactful outbound strategies pursuing our ideal Brand Partners who are a mix of small to enterprise clients; primarily in the Beauty, Health and Wellness, Parenting, Fashion, Pets, Fitness, and Tech categories.


The successful candidate will be motivated, gritty, and eager to make a difference through the tenacious pursuit of some very cool brands with awesome products and services.


Responsibilities:


  • Research and identify prospective clients and key decision-makers within targeted industries and market segments
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and networking, to align Creators benefits with the values and objectives of our icp. 
  • Qualify leads and opportunities through effective discovery and needs analysis to determine fit and readiness to engage with Account Executives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns to drive pipeline growth
  • Provide timely and accurate follow-up on leads and inquiries to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales funnel
  • Track and document all prospect interactions and activities in Salesforce
  • Position yourself and Creator as thought leaders within the influencer marketing and digital marketing industries



Qualifications:


  • 1+ years Sales and Business Development experience, or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in SaaS and/or Martech sales preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful sales strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Team player with a work-hard play-hard mentality
  • Previous experience working in a start-up environment is an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce and Apollo is an asset

Compensation Range:

We offer a starting salary of $50,000-60,000 CAD + commission

Total compensation includes Salary, bonus, benefits, and other perks
