Role Overview

The El Furniture Warehouse AGM plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This position ensures both staff and guests are always the top priority, creating an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and part of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote monthly drink features, track sales, and recognize top performers
• Ensure all FOH staff successfully complete ongoing food and beverage menu testing
• Support the GM in achieving sales targets, budgets, and operational goals
• Lead, coach, and motivate a high-energy, performance-driven team
• Identify and communicate performance concerns to the GM
• Execute in-house promotions and support social media initiatives
• Participate in weekly management meetings

Reporting To

General Manager

Requirements

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of provincial liquor laws
• Solid knowledge of restaurant operations and service flow
• Familiarity with food and beverage menus

Skills:

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Abilities:

• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Proven ability to create a fun, engaging, and memorable guest experience

Certifications:

• Valid Liquor Service Certification
• Food Safe Certification
