Job Description

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & TASKS:

Director of Sales and Marketing is an integral part of Rosemead House opening overseeing
all aspects of Sales and Marketing. This position will oversee all aspects of Sales and
Marketing, and this position directly reports to General Manager.

 As a pre-opening member, create a strong foundation of Sales and Marketing
Department

 Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to establish brand identity and
market positioning.

 Lead digital and traditional marketing initiatives, including website content, social
media, email campaigns, and print advertising.

 Create compelling storytelling and visual campaigns to showcase the distinct luxury
offerings of the hotel, restaurant, and spa.

 Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to curate
high-quality marketing materials.

 Manage relationships with PR agencies and media outlets to enhance brand
visibility.

 Oversee the creation of promotional content and press releases for key events and
hotel openings.

 Maintain, measure and drive brand awareness including online advertising, signage,
social media and digital.

 Responsible for maintaining company and brand standards for templates, letters,
etc.

 Works closely with front office and housekeeping team coordinating all group room
reservations, upgrades, welcome amenities and generating invoices upon check out Compile and distribute relevant reports to appropriate departments as required,
ensuring timely follow-through with all revisions, cancellations and special requests
for room and event bookings.

 Maintaining and updating group profiles, ensuring that all group information is upto-date and correct, under the guidance and supervision of the General Manager

 Manage banquet event orders for all hotel, and internal events and prepare and
communicate group resumes and BEO as needed.

 Generate and update key sales and event reports, that are required for timely
internal and external meetings.

 Respond to general telephone inquiries on behalf of the Sales &marketing team.

 Ensures all calls, emails and any other duties related to inquiries, reservations and
distribution are resolved in a timely manner.

 Develop a proactive sales strategy to attract luxury travelers, corporate clients, and
event bookings.

 Cultivate relationships with travel agencies, corporate partners, and high-end
clientele to drive reservations and private events.

 Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and
opportunities for growth.

 Work closely with the hotel’s revenue management team to optimize pricing
strategies and maximize occupancy rates.

 Develop partnerships with influencers, travel bloggers, and luxury lifestyle brands to
expand audience reach.

 Maintain positive communication with all departments in the hotel and stay well
informed of hotel VIPs, activities, promotions and events.

 Plan and execute exclusive launch events, VIP experiences, and promotional
activities to introduce the brand to the market.

 Attend sales and event team meetings by participating, preparing, recording and
distributing meeting minutes.

 Collaborate with the hotel’s leadership team to ensure a seamless guest experience
aligned with the brand’s luxury standards. Develop loyalty programs and initiatives to encourage repeat business and guest engagement.

 Work closely with the General Manager, Food & Beverage and Director of Spa &
Wellness to promote seasonal menus, special dining experiences, and spa
packages.

 Other assigned duties

Qualifications and Skills
 3+ years of experience in luxury hospitality marketing and sales, preferably in hotels,
fine dining, or wellness/spa industries required.
 Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, social media management, and
content creation.
 Proven track record in driving sales, securing high-end clientele, and fostering
strategic partnerships.
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
 Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
 Passion for luxury hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
