Job Title: Marketing, Sales & Events Manager (Hospitality)
Location: Rosemead House | Janevca Restaurant
Salary: $90-100,000

Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Marketing, Sales & Events Manager to join our team at Rosemead House and Janevca Kitchen & Lounge. This exciting opportunity plays a key role in driving revenue and executing events, weddings, and operations for our luxury hotel and restaurant and 13 long-term stay units.

This position offers a rewarding challenge by driving significant annual sales growth, allowing individuals to showcase their expertise across various areas of the business. Responsibilities will be split across hotel room and long-stay bookings (50%), event and restaurant promotion (30%), and front desk duties (20%).

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Marketing, Sales and Promotion:

The Marketing, Sales & Events Manager (the “Manager”) will be responsible for promoting the hotel, long stay units and restaurant by building strong relationships with travel agencies, magazines and tourism organizations at local, national, and international levels. This includes ensuring that all social media platforms are current and effectively promote the brand, while also engaging with potential guests through online marketing strategies.
The Manager will work to establish the hotel and restaurant as a luxury destination, crafting targeted marketing campaigns that drive occupancy and restaurant bookings, all while aligning with the hotel and restaurant’s overall brand identity and vision. This role will also encompass various responsibilities that include, but not limited to, the following:
• Create and execute targeted sales plans to drive occupancy for the hotel’s 28 rooms, 13 long-stay units, and increase traffic for Janevca Restaurant & Lounge, focusing on market trends, customer segmentation, and partnership opportunities.
• Utilize pricing strategies, promotional offers, and effective marketing campaigns to optimize bookings and revenue across all sectors.
• Collaborate with marketing, internal operations, and external partners to build strong networks and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and secure new business for weddings, events, restaurant functions, and corporate bookings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, vendors, and corporate clients.
• Conduct site visits, provide pricing quotes, and create compelling proposals for hotel, long-stay units, and restaurant offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets for hotel stays, long-term bookings, and restaurant events.
• Build relationships with corporate clients and travel agents.

2. Event Coordination:

• Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their events.
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of weddings and events, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, service staff, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Manage event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through event completion.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.

3. Hotel Management:

• Assist the Hotel General Manager by overseeing hotel operations and staff management during their absence, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

4. Front Desk Duties:

In the initial stages of opening the hotel, the Manager will also manage front desk responsibilities to ensure smooth operations. This will include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and providing guest services as needed. As the hotel becomes more established and operational needs are better understood, the responsibilities of this role will shift. A division of duties between marketing/events management, and front desk operations will be determined to ensure efficient service and alignment with the hotel’s growth.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related fields.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in hospitality, marketing, sales, or event management, ideally in luxury or high-end properties.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Expertise in sales strategies, social media, and digital marketing.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Proficiency in event coordination and budget management.
• Creative, detail-oriented, goal-driven, with a passion for hospitality.
