Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience, are required.

Tasks: Analize budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits; Evaluate daily operations; Monitor revenues to determine labour cost; Plan and organize daily operations; Set staff work schedules; Train staff; Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms; Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations; Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies; Leading/instructing individuals; Provide customer service; Monitor staff performance; Supervise Staff; Conduct performance reviews; Cost products and services; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities; Address customers' complaints or concerns; Manage events.
Supervision: 5-10 people; staff in various areas of responsibility
Budgetary responsibility: $0 - $100,000
