Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):

·       Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently to ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

·       Wash, sanitize, and properly organize kitchen smallwares and equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

·       Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring all kitchen tools and surfaces comply with health and safety regulations.

·       Keep dishwashing stations, prep areas, and kitchen surroundings clean and orderly throughout each shift.

·       Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and deep-cleaning kitchen areas as needed.

·       Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals while following all safety protocols and kitchen sanitation standards.

·       Consistently follow food safety guidelines, health department standards, and company sanitation procedures.

·       Foster a positive work environment by being respectful, cooperative, and courteous with team members.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPITENCIES:

·       Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to adapt to change.

·       Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. 

·       Able to work standing for long periods of time.

·       Strong customer service skills with a passion for people.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.

·       Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

·       Must be able to legally work in Canada.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

·       1+ years dishwashing experience.

·       High School or equivalent.

WAGE/BENEFITS:  

·       Wage: $18.60/hour + tips
