Work Where You Love to Play! Cypress Mountain, located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, is seeking talented Bar Line Cooks to join our vibrant Food & Beverage culinary team. Working at the Crazy Raven Bar and Aguila Cantina, Bar Line Cooks are key players in preparing delicious meals and supporting the daily operations of the kitchen. You’ll collaborate closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure food is prepared quickly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):
• Prepare a variety of menu items as instructed, ensuring all food is cooked to the required specifications and presented attractively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar line, prep stations, and surrounding kitchen environment.
• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards to maintain high-quality food at all times.
• Adaptable to accommodate customer special requests and dietary restrictions as needed.
• Adhere to safety program and protocols, including safe food handling, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Follow new procedures as required.
• Assist in the management of food inventory, ensuring all ingredients are properly stocked and stored, and alerting supervisors to any shortages or issues.
• Assists and supports all other Cypress Mountain Team in the performance of their job duties
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• High School or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Line Cook.
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment; strong knife skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work standing for long periods of time.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for people.
• Ability to work independently or part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in producing high-quality menu items.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required to meet the needs of the business.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.
• Food Safe Level 1

• Wage: $19/hour
