Job Description

As we continue to elevate our culinary standards, we are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a strong background in preferably fine dining and a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts, possess excellent leadership skills, and showcase a keen eye for creative plating. The Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, kitchen efficiency, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute menus that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety.
Take a lead role in the creative development and execution of visually stunning and delectable dishes with an emphasis on innovative plating techniques.
Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, like managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain a hands-on approach like participating in the cooking process to ensure consistency and excellence.
Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation standards, following local health department regulations.
Contribute to the development of new recipes, specials, and seasonal offerings to enhance the culinary offerings of the restaurant.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and ingredients.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Creative plating skills with a focus on delivering visually appealing dishes.
