We’re looking for an amazing, high-energy morning person to join our OEB Breakfast Co. – West Vancouver team! If you thrive in early mornings, love fast-paced kitchens, and want room to grow into leadership, this could be the role for you.
Position Details
Full-time position
Early morning start (5:00–6:00 AM), finishing in the afternoon
Hybrid role: prep cooking + line cooking
Leadership opportunities for the right candidate
About the Role
After training, you’ll be responsible for:
Opening the kitchen
Preparing key items for service
Setting the team up for a successful day
Supporting line service during busy breakfast hours
Long-term, this role can grow into:
Leading a team of 3–8 cooks on the Chef’s days off
Acting as a shift lead during closing
Taking on additional supervisory responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant (required)
Supervisor or management experience (preferred)
Strong organizational skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
Reliable transportation for early morning shifts
Must live in West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Vancouver, or Burnaby, or be planning to relocate
