The Vancouver Christmas Market, one of the city's most popular holiday events, returns this year to Jack Poole Plaza to celebrate the holiday season.
With more than 80 huts serving authentic German sweets, treats and treasures, there is something for everyone at this festive market.
From mulled wine at the Christmas Pyramid, craft cider and craft spirits, Kaffee schnapps from East Van Roasters and even German apple drinks from Das Apfel Haus, there will be plenty to sip on to get you in the holiday spirit.
Chow down on authentic German dishes such as Gulasch, Spatzle or even Schweinshaxe (pork shank) from Haxen Haus. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, the Transylvanian Chimney Cakes or Traditional Spanish Churros should do the trick.
Fresh out of gift ideas? There will be tons of vendors offering gifts like natural soaps, handmade ornaments, ugly Christmas sweaters, teas, jewellery and much more to help you wrap up your holiday shopping.
Families will enjoy the Christmas Carousel and Kids Day (December 1st) featuring live entertainment, free arts & crafts, a treasure hunt and delicious Kinderpunsch.
The market is open from November 20th to December 24th, from 11:30am - 9:30pm daily (11:30am - 6pm Christmas eve).
