The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an unprecedented rise in mental distress in Canada due to isolation, physical health concerns, substance use concerns, financial and employment uncertainty, and the emotional dialogue around racial equality. In response, the Government of Canada funded the creation of Wellness Together Canada, a resource to help Canadians cope with the challenges of the pandemic.
If you or someone you know is in need of support, Wellness Together Canada's online toolkit provides free mental health and substance use support, free self-directed resources, and free counselling with a mental health professional.
