We’re currently looking for a Food Runner / Server Assistant to join our front-of-house team and help support a smooth, attentive dining experience.

The Role
As a Food Runner / Server Assistant, you play an essential behind-the-scenes role in ensuring smooth service from kitchen to table. You’ll work closely with servers, bartenders, and the kitchen team to maintain flow, timing, and presentation throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver food from the kitchen to tables promptly, accurately, and with care
Support servers with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, and guest needs
Assist with polishing glassware, cutlery, and maintaining dining room readiness
Communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH team to ensure seamless service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations
Uphold Lardo’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail
Growth Pathway
At Lardo, we are committed to developing our team from within. This role is a stepping stone into service and bar positions for individuals who show consistency, initiative, and a strong understanding of hospitality.
Successful candidates may progress into:
Server roles, learning table service, guest engagement, menu knowledge, and wine service
Bartender roles, gaining exposure to cocktail execution, bar service, and beverage knowledge
You’ll receive hands-on mentorship, exposure to refined service standards, and opportunities to grow as your skills and confidence develop.

Restaurant experience is an asset, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate
