We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Barback to support our bartending team and help maintain a smooth and efficient bar operation. As a Barback, you will assist with restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring bartenders have everything they need to serve guests quickly and effectively. This is an excellent entry-level position for someone interested in pursuing a career in bartending or hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and glassware behind the bar throughout the shift
Clean and organize the bar area, including removing trash, cleaning spills, and washing glassware
Assist bartenders in preparing garnishes and setting up bar stations
Refill napkins, straws, and other bar tools as needed
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and coolers
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Support bartenders and servers during busy shifts by anticipating their needs
Help with opening and closing duties, including stocking and cleaning
Qualifications:
Previous bar or restaurant experience preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and move quickly
Positive attitude and team-player mentality
Must be of legal age to work around alcohol (varies by location)
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of bar supplies and basic drink preparation is a plus
