Blue Bovine Steak + Sushi House is seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager with a strong background in high-energy nightlife environments. Job Description & Responsibilities

Service & Operations Leadership

• Coordinate operations of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, especially during peak evening and late-night shifts
• Lead the floor during high-volume nightlife hours, ensuring seamless service and elevated guest engagement
• Manage staff and provide them with feedback
• Meet and greet patrons and organize table reservations
• Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently in a fast-paced, late-night environment
• Prepare cash floats and complete nightly cash-outs for servers and bartenders
• Order and manage inventory, and control of alcoholic beverages in the restaurant
• Complete any other related duties as assigned by management

Nightlife & Guest Experience

• Cultivate an upscale nightlife atmosphere aligned with the Blue Bovine brand
• Actively engage with guests, VIPs, and reservations to enhance experience and drive repeat business
• Support management with event execution and special nightlife programming
• Collaborate with the bar team and DJs to ensure cohesive nightlife execution
• Ensure adherence to service, safety, and liquor regulations during late-night operations

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of restaurant managerial experience, with strong nightlife or late-night venue experience
• Proven ability to lead high-volume evening service in upscale dining or nightlife-driven environments
• Strong customer service background and communication skills
• Confident floor presence with exceptional guest engagement skills
• Demonstrated ability to train and manage teams in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
• Ability to work flexible hours, days, nights and holidays
• Must be eligible to work legally in Canada
