We are currently assisting a major OSB manufacturer in Englehart, ON, with their Project Manager role. This is a full-time permanent role, as such, relocation to the area is required. You will be responsible for providing project management expertise to support capital investments at operating facilities across the division. Project Managers will typically be assigned multiple projects to manage simultaneously.

What You Will Do

• Develop investment proposals, Scopes of Work, estimates, execution plans, and related materials
• Organize and execute design, construction/installation, commissioning, start-up, and documentation activities, project cost tracking and reporting, and other projects as defined in scope of Work and project justification proposal
• Lead multi-discipline teams, external engineering firms and vendors
• Manage project schedule and track progress
• Ensure capable field technical support and construction management resources and systems are in place to drive project success and EH&S excellence
• Partner closely with purchasing and procurement resources
• Ensure compliance with internal and external safety and environmental standards and practices

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience successfully leading and implementing engineering projects
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or technical field in an asset
• Experience with MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, & Word

What Will Put You Ahead

• Proficiency with MS Project software
• Experience in a manufacturing industry
• Proficiency with AutoCAD software
• Experience with Ecosys project management software.
• Professional Engineer’s license
