Position Overview:
As a Bartender with SERVED Catering, you’ll be the face behind the bar at a variety of events, from weddings and corporate galas to private parties. You will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring guests receive outstanding hospitality throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and break down bar stations at catered events
-Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a responsible manner
-Ensure compliance with all BC liquor laws
-Provide excellent guest service with a positive, professional attitude
-Maintain a clean and organized bar area during and after service
-Monitor guest consumption and manage any issues professionally
-Collaborate with event staff and managers to ensure smooth event execution
-Handle inventory and restock supplies as needed
Requirements:
-Minimum 2 years experience bartending
-Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
-Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
-Availability to work evenings and weekends
-Reliable transportation to event locations
