We are seeking passionate individuals for the position of part-time cook. Our shared production kitchen is located near Yorkdale, a ready-to-eat meal business partner with CookUnity creating traditional and modern Korean and Japanese dishes. You will be part of a small team preparing thousands of meals a week for delivery. If you desire to have an impact on a fast growing business we'd love to hear from you.
* Duties
- Clean, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed by the kitchen manager
- Cook dishes according recipes and ensure consistency
- Weigh and portion food into individual containers
- Maintain clean work space and equipment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
* Requirements
- Previous minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment. Experience in a production or commercial kitchen is an asset
- Food handler certificated
- Ability to remain organized at all times in a fast paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others as needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+hours at a time. Ability to lift 50lbs
- Willingness to learn new things and adapt

- Performance Bonus (Avg $3.8/hr) after probation
* Production Schedules
- Days : Friday to Tuesday (Weekend ability is a must)
- Hours : 1pm-10pm, paid break 30 minutes per 6 hours shift with free meal
