Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders. Bake mixed doughs and batters. Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods. Ensure quality of products meets established standards. Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce. Order supplies.
Minimum 2 years baking experience required.
Must have at least high school diploma.
We refer to Whitehorse as "the California of the North". Surprisingly sophisticated with a great arts & music scene, ready access to unbelievable wilderness, a growing food scene and a stable economy. Whitehorse is isolated but definitely in the 21st century. Relatively cheap access to the outside world with Air North, Yukon's Airline but unique in character. So many people have come for the summer - 10 or 20 years ago.
