Cook – Il Corvo, North Vancouver
Il Corvo is a new Italian restaurant opening in North Vancouver, rooted in handmade pasta, seasonal ingredients, and genuine hospitality. We’re looking for passionate Cooks to join our kitchen team and bring our vision to life.
At Il Corvo, every dish starts with respect for ingredients and a focus on craftsmanship. As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing and executing our menu, from fresh pasta to seasonal Italian-inspired dishes, while contributing to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare and cook dishes to Il Corvo’s standards, ensuring quality and consistency
• Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth, efficient service
• Follow recipes and directions while also contributing ideas for specials and features
• Keep your station organized, stocked, and clean throughout service
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and respect in the kitchen
• Uphold food safety, health, and sanitation standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
• 1+ year of cooking experience in a professional kitchen (experience with Italian cuisine or pasta-making is a plus)
• A passion for food, hospitality, and learning new skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and consistency, even in a fast paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated to grow within the role
• Food Safe Level 1 certification
Compensation & Benefits
• $19–$25/hour + tips (depending on experience)
