Mercasa Little Italy Eatery & Catering is seeking an experienced Chef to support daily kitchen production, service, and catering operations within our quality-driven Italian restaurant and catering company in Brantford.
This role is ideal for a culinary professional who values consistency, organization, teamwork, and from-scratch cooking in a respectful, well-run kitchen environment. The Chef will work closely with ownership and the kitchen team to maintain standards, execute service, and contribute to ongoing growth.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute daily kitchen production and service
Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
Oversee prep and station organization
Support catering and off-site event production
Assist with team guidance and positive kitchen culture
Ensure cleanliness and food safety compliance
Contribute to efficient kitchen operations and workflow
Qualifications
Professional kitchen experience as a cook or chef
Strong organization and reliability
Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
