We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Prep Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our team and help keep our food program running smoothly. This is a hands-on, independent role, perfect for someone who enjoys a calm, organized kitchen environment and takes pride in doing things right. What You’ll Do
As the main kitchen person, you’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining our in-house food offerings with care and consistency.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to café recipes and standards.
- Organize and fulfill internal orders for all store locations as part of our central kitchen system (receiving order requests, producing items, and packaging for delivery).
- Complete opening and closing kitchen duties (organization, labeling, cleaning, and prep).
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, tidy workspace throughout the day.
- Monitor inventory, expiry dates, and communicate needs to the manager.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Some kitchen or hospitality experience preferred.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Detail-oriented with good time management.
- Food Safe certification required.
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
- A passion for food and product creativity.
Nice to Have:
- Baking skills or an interest in recipe development.
- An eye for innovation and small-batch testing for café menu items.
