Socialē Ristorante is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and driven chef to join our team as Head Chef. Sociale offers an opportunity to run one of Penticton’s best restaurants right on Lake Okanagan, mere steps from the beach. Cafe by day, wine and cocktail bar in the evenings, the restaurant serves high-end Italian cuisine, with a Canadian/west-coast twist.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Knowledge of Italian regional cuisine
Tenacity and integrity
Previous experience managing a busy kitchen, including:
Scheduling
Food costing
Menu design
Rostering staff
Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated leadership qualities. We want someone with creativity and passion to help us produce innovative dishes and enhance the overall dining experience for our customers.
Socialē Enoteca Ristorante is a unique business set-up. Essentially two businesses in one. Cafe and “grab and go” available in early mornings; Enoteca Winebar and Ristorante - Italian small and large bites available from lunch all the way to late night bites. We are located on Penticton’s Okanagan Lakefront - unobstructed views of the lake, right on the heart of “Sunset Strip Boardwalk”.
