Hawksworth Restaurant is looking for a cheerful, organized, and hospitality-loving Lead Host/Hostess to take the lead on our weekday lunch service. If you’re passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we’d love to meet you!
About You:
You’re the kind of person who makes a great first impression — warm, professional, and always ready with a smile. You love the buzz of a busy dining room and enjoy being at the heart of it all. You’re confident leading a small team, staying cool under pressure, and keeping things running smoothly from the front desk.
You’re also:
-A natural people person who enjoys connecting with guests and regulars alike
-Detail-oriented and proactive — you’re always two steps ahead
-Comfortable using reservation software (SevenRooms, OpenTable, etc.)
-A true hospitality professional who takes pride in great service
-Available Monday to Friday during lunch hours (no nights or weekends!)
What You’ll Do:
-Welcome guests and ensure every visit starts with a friendly, professional greeting
-Lead and support the host team to keep the dining room flowing seamlessly
-Manage reservations and guest preferences using our reservation system
-Communicate clearly with servers and management to enhance the guest experience
-Handle special requests and questions with a smile and can-do attitude
