Saffron Indian Cuisine is looking for a qualified full-time chef. Must have 2+ experience cooking traditional northern & and Southern Indian dishes and experienced with tandoor. Restaurant is close to Patterson Skytrain station.

Job Duties Include by are not limited to:
• Prepare & cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Check quality of ingredients
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Train kitchen staff and Helpers
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions
