ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to the following):
• Maintain and manage a bar seating section, ensuring that tables are cleaned and set up properly between guests.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
• Utilize product knowledge to sell menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences, focusing on Portion, Preparation, Presentation, and Price.
• Assist fellow team members as needed to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
• Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying garbages.
• Follow health and safety protocols, including food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Adhere to safety program and protocols, including safe food handling, sanitization and health regulations.
• Courteous towards co-workers and Guests.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar.
• High School or equivalent.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for people and an approachable attitude.
• Passion for food and beverage with a solid understanding of menu items and preparation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a consistently high-quality guest experience.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.
• Serving It Right required.
