Position Overview
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be a guardian of the guest experience and a leader to our dedicated front-of-house team. You will work closely with the General Manager, Sommelier team, and Culinary leadership to ensure every service executes flawlessly. This role requires a sophisticated blend of business acumen, staff mentorship, and a deep passion for luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Service Excellence: Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring our rigorous standards of hospitality, timing, and tableside service are consistently met.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule a high-performing team of servers, runners, and hosts. Inspire a culture of continuous learning and pride in craftsmanship.
Guest Relations: Cultivate relationships with regular patrons, VIPs, and first-time guests alike, handling feedback with grace, diplomacy, and immediate resolution.
Financial & Operational Oversight: Assist in managing labor costs, inventory controls, and operational expenses without compromising the luxury experience.
Collaborative Synergy: Partner seamlessly with our culinary team and world-class wine department to ensure flawless execution of menu changes and exclusive pairings.
What You Bring to the Table
Crucial Requirement: A minimum of 3–5 years of management experience within a recognized upscale, fine-dining, or luxury hospitality environment.
Deep Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of premium beverage programs, fine wine, and luxury culinary ingredients (knowledge of dry-aging and global beef profiles is a major asset).
Flawless Floor Presence: The ability to command a busy room with a calm, polished demeanor, effortlessly managing the flow of service.
Leadership Gravitas: A proven track record of developing staff and fostering a collaborative, respectful, and high-energy workplace.
Operational Savvy: Proficiency with modern restaurant tech (e.g., OpenTable/SevenRooms, POS systems, Excel, and inventory management software).
Flexible Availability: Commitment to working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
