ABOUT OSTERIA ELIO VOLPE
Osteria Elio Volpe is a bright, coastal-inspired osteria in the heart of Cambie Village, opened in Spring 2024. Housed in a former mechanic’s shop, the space has been transformed into an open, sun-soaked dining room with a lively wraparound bar and a warm, easygoing energy. Drawing inspiration from southern Italy’s coasts and islands, Elio brings together bold flavours, fresh Pacific Northwest ingredients, and a spirited approach to Italian hospitality.
As the latest addition to Banda Volpi — the acclaimed restaurant group behind Savio Volpe, La Tana, and Pepino’s Spaghetti House — Elio is part of a team recognized for creating some of Canada’s most well-regarded dining experiences. Banda Volpi (meaning “gang of foxes”) has earned a national reputation, celebrated for emphasizing thoughtful cuisine, warm hospitality, and exceptional service. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to keep the kitchen fully stocked and ready for service
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area in compliance with sanitation and safety standards
- Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly, keeping the kitchen free of clutter
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to high standards
- Help with the storage of clean items and assist in organizing kitchen tools and supplies
- Work as part of a team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen during busy service times
QUALIFICATIONS: - No experience required – entry-level position, perfect for those wanting to get their start in the kitchen!
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and be a team player
- Must be available for evenings and weekends (shifts typically include evenings and weekends)
