Job Description

Summit Search Group has partnered with an established, leader in the Building Products industry who has built their reputation on quality and providing exceptional customer service.


Our client, a leading wholesale distribution company of non-structural wood products and supplies is looking an experienced account manager to join their team in Regina.

The Account Manager is a pivotal figure within the sales team, tasked with the primary purpose of driving and managing all sales operations across a diverse portfolio of accounts within the Regina territory. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within a growing organization.


Responsibilities

  • our business with existing customers/leads through upselling or cross selling our functional and decorative products in Regina and southern Saskatchewan.
  • quotations to secure new orders.
  • with sales team as a mentor/supervisor to help develop their overall skills.
  • orders on the system to ensure they get to the customer in a timely manner.
  • new business via face-to-face visits in target area, inbound/outbound calling, emailing, following up.
  • the sales process to achieve profitable results.
  • client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
  • on a KPI system to log all daily activities to achieve set weekly targets.
  • in trade shows, training sessions or product meetings.


Experience


  • least 3 years experience with account management focusing on the Building Supplies products.
  • of the building materials sector (e.g. laminate, melamine, lumber, plywood).
  • ideal candidate will have demonstrated exceptional capability in understanding and achieving the optimal customer mix targeted by the Client showcasing an ability to elevate the sales process through innovative strategies, strong product knowledge, and robust relationship-building skills.
  • of working effectively under pressure to meet monthly and yearly targets.


Remuneration for this position will consists of a base salary between $80-90K in addition to a performance bonus program. The package will also include an automobile allowance and fuel card, appropriate expenses, cell phone, laptop and full benefit program including RRSP matching.
