A Shift Manager is also responsible for providing amazing customer experiences and demonstrating strong selling skills. * Ensure every customer receives outstanding customer service by following our customer service program * Drive customer loyalty by introducing our loyalty program to all customers * Drive business results through coaching and encouraging customer focused sales associates * Promote the brand through knowledge and understanding of our product, business, and values * Oversee store operations, including shift task organization and store opening and closing duties, in conjunction with/or in the absence of management * Participating in merchandising, marketing and visual presentation according to our standards and directives * Maintain a safe and clean store environment for our teams and customers * Secure company assets with strong loss prevention skills and awareness * Providing supervision to the store team; providing guidance, coaching, and training to your team so they can achieve great results * Creating a positive work environment that embodies our values *Who You Are* * Experienced retail associate who is able to motivate, train and coach others to success * Has excellent sales skills and is committed to ensuring amazing customer experiences * Interested in fashion and has an eye for style * Committed to teamwork and can apply our philosophy that “none of us is as good as all of us” * Able to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store * Has flexible availability; shift managers can work a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts *RICKIS’ STORY* From a single store in 1939 in Brandon, Manitoba, Ricki's has grown to become a destination for fashionable workwear.
