What You Will Be Doing:

• Strategize, develop, and update occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Provide comprehensive guidance and training on health and safety matters.
• Act as the primary liaison with governmental bodies, health and safety organizations, and external agencies.
• Conduct thorough accident investigations and provide clear communication and training.
• Maintain a visible presence on the factory floor for direct communication and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with environmental factors, including paint and chemical management, air quality, hazardous material disposal, respiratory safety, and MSDS protocols.

What You Bring To The Table:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field of study is preferred
• Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST)
• Preference for candidates holding Joint Health and Safety Certification
• Possession of First Aid certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in safety regulations and MS Office applications
• Exceptional communication skills are essential
