Threadcount Textile & Design is seeking an enthusiastic experienced and dynamic sales professional to join its interior design sales team. The candidate would possess a self starter attitude, who is highly motivated and work well individually and in a team setting. Interior design background a plus, sales driven, multi-tasker, naturally charismatic and natural relationship demeanour. Team player!

Background

Sisters raised in the fashion-manufacturing world were unified in their love of fabrics and in a seamless transition from fashion to interiors, Threadcount Textile & Design was born. The company is specialized in the development and distribution of high quality natural and sustainable textiles to the interior design trade.

Our flagship showroom is located in the Castlefield Design District, Based out of Toronto, Canada with warehouses now in Europe, Canada and the U. S.

Threadcount Textile & Design seeks to continuously achieve exceptional fabric distribution in the mid to high-end textile market in Canada and USA. We specialize in luxury and natural fibre textiles for residential application and are positioned to capitalize on natural fabrics, eco considerate, organic and sustainable fabric for the interior design industry. Who Are you?

  • Have a passion and experience in Interior Design
  • Excellent Communication Skills-Verbal, Presentation and networking and skills with demonstrated ability to tailor presentations to the A&D interior market
  • Experienced in trade sales (3 - 5 years min), love sales process
  • Love Building Relationships
  • Experienced in B2B Sales - Ability to manage and drive sales plan. Hard-working and driven to improve sales and activity performance beyond targets
  • Go getter mentality, goal oriented
  • wants to be a part of an entrepreneurial, creative team thats growing
  • Makes long lasting relationships naturally
  • Has an eye for colour and texture

  • Understands and knows how to utilize social media and marketing tools

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Management:

  • Sales monitoring, analysis and reporting on sales activities
  • Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Participating in strategic planning and implementing initiatives to achieve sales targets in new and existing markets.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with A&D professionals to drive sales for Threadcount products
  • Meeting with key accounts In our Toronto showroom, and on the road - to understand their needs and supply them with fresh ideas for their design projects, and update with new products.
  • Build and track partnerships with designer showrooms, dealers and stockists
  • Present and maintain up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in Salesforce CRM system.
  • Prepare action plans and project reports to identify specific targets and to forecast sales.
  • Cultivating existing client relationships, as well as building new leads within the design industry


Marketing & Lead Management

  • Responsible for bringing profitable sales leads to the company, using marketing automation tools, workflows and campaigns.
  • Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity, to generate outbound lead
  • Research accounts, identify key players, campaigns
  • Continuously work with our the team on creating dynamic campaigns that speak to our clientele
  • Create consistent & creative contact methods with the client base
  • Utilize Social Media to generate leads and relationships
  • Track and present results and analytics on campaign performances


Product Knowledge:

  • Develop and grow relationships within the A&D market: become the point of contact and go to person for any TEXTILE needs and provide info, specs, as needed
  • Engage and update the A&D Community with a project focused mindset. Presenting product updates with a focus on engaging these firms regarding current or upcoming projects . Visiting on the Road, At our Showroom or Virtually
  • Offer textile expertise and inspiration , while helping interior designers and architects select the perfect fabrics for their upcoming projects.
  • Having a solid perfect knowledge of our collections, from a stylistic and technical viewpoint.
  • Supply memos for ongoing projects and samples for libraries. Maintain the client libraries and samples’ stock updated, checking phase out collections, missing best sellers collection.
  • Cultivate in-depth product knowledge and understanding to ensure effective communication of product features, use cases, and benefits
