Position: Airport Parking “Operations and Customer Support Specialist” at Stolport Corporation
Dual reporting to: the Director of Operations and the Financial Controller
Hours: Permanent Full-Time, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday-Friday (with occasional overtime and/or weekend shift requirement)
Location: On-site, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport
Start Wage: $20/hr, plus benefits
General Role
Parking & Ferry Operations/FBO Support:
· Provide and coordinate technical support of Parking Control Systems
· Support and occasionally substitute for Parking and Ferry Gate CSRs
· Support and occasionally substitute for Valet Attendants
· Occasionally substitute for FBO (Fixed Base Operator) Customer Service Specialist (FBO Front Desk)
· Upkeep of Parking Control Systems
Customer Support:
· General customer inquiries/complaints and assistance by phone, e-mail and in person.
· Coordinate Ferry Crossing reservations for trucks and commercial customers
· Assist customers making online parking reservations
Accounting and Management Liaison
· Manage Customer, Billing, and Sales Databases
· Monthly parking pass reconciliation and inventory control
· Generate a variety of reports and analysis for accounting & management
· Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies
· Parking Usage and Rates Analysis using SkiData and Excel
· Act as liaison between Accounting Department and front-line Parking CSRs
Requirements:
· Willingness to independently learn the intricacies of parking systems, equipment, and supporting software programs. Basic training will be provided, but the Specialist will be expected to eventually master the parking systems technology and supporting software (i.e. Skidata, Hesion, Chauntry ParkSpace, Converge, Total Aviation Software, ParkSuite, Camera software, etc.)
· High degree of competence in data manipulation using Excel
· Excellent communication in English (written and oral) is required, fluency in spoken French is a plus
· Natural aptitude for providing good customer service
· Willingness to be versatile and act as a team player
· Analytical/critical thinking abilities
· Basic accounting, financial and computer literacy
· Problem solving skills
· Able to independently learn
The Operations and Customer Support Specialist can be assigned various other projects and daily tasks as required by the organization.
