Hays Property Team is recruiting for a Property Manager, Non-Profit for a portfolio located across Toronto West area.

Hays Property are recruiting on behalf of our Client; one of Canada’s leading property management companies with properties all across Canada. They are a business whom have a great reputation within the industry and are looking for an experienced Residential Property Manager, Non-Profit to continue their success on a portfolio of buildings in Toronto.
Your new role
As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of six buildings across the GTA in Toronto & Milton of around 1,000 units. You will have a team of around 10 reporting in to you including Property Administrators, Live-In Superintendents. You will oversee the day to day operational running of the buildings, dealing with tenants, managing your staff, issuing of legal notices and attending court for delinquencies. The expectation is that you are on-site, working very closely with the wider team to provide the best service to the buildings. You will also be working closely with the financials of the buildings in respect of PO's, work orders, invoicing and working with budgets both operationally and CapEx. There will be an expectation to be on site and travel to properties when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role particularly pertaining to residential rentals ideally within a non-profit background, including oversight of a portfolio. You will have an extensive knowledge of the RTA, RGI and a positive working attitude to resolve differing issues in your portfolio. You will have an excellent track record of working within a similar environment. You should have the ability to work independently, have strong management skills and excellent planning and organizational skills. You should also have a drive to want to grow with the company.
